Parks and Recreation

Enatai Beach Park  is at the foot of 108th SE, just under I-90, is 3 ½ acres with 650 feet of shoreline.  It has a fishing pier, roped off swimming area with lifeguards during the summer, picnic tables, a new boathouse with year-round kayak and canoe rentals on weekends, and rest rooms with showers for swimmers.  Just past Enatai Beach Park is a paved path going east across the Mercer Slough.  This is well known to bicyclists and joggers – also ducks, geese, blue herons, opossums, and raccoons.

Pit Park is located at the corner of SE 25th and 108th SE.  This park has two tennis courts, a tennis practice backboard, and play equipment for kids.

Killarney Glen Park is located at 104th SE and approximately SE 19th in a forested setting with trails, two tennis courts, baseball field, play equipment, and basketball hoop.

Chesterfield Park at SE 25th and Killarney Way (also called 100th Ave SE) is a small, 1/2 acre park with 60 feet of shoreline and a lifeguard during the summer.

Chism Park  is west of Killarney Way at approximately SE 15th.  It encompasses 10 acres of land and has approximately 930 feet of shoreline.  There is a sandy beach with lifeguards on duty during the summer months, BBQ’s at waterside, plenty of parking, and beautiful vistas of Lake Washington and Seattle.

Bellevue Downtown Park, just south of Bellevue Square, is an 18-acre park with a ½ mile jogging track, children’s play equipment, a tree-lined canal encircling the park, sprawling lawns, ice skating during the winter, and an impressive 230 ft. wide waterfall which spills into a shallow one-acre pond—wade at your own risk!

Local Features

Main Street in Old Bellevue has an eclectic mix of furniture, florist, antique, barber, clothing, coffee, and bakery shops and restaurants. A great place to stroll on weekends for breakfast!

The Bellevue Art Museum has an interesting and varied program of exhibits, classes and speakers, plus an outstanding museum store.

The Bellevue Collection is a world class destination for shopping, dining and entertainment.  Offering 250 shops, 18 sit-down restaurants, a 16-screen premier cinema, 700 luxury hotel rooms and 10,000 free retail parking spaces.  Included in the Bellevue Collection are Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and   Lincoln Square.

Schools

Enatai Elementary is on SE 23rd between 108th and 104th.  Children are bussed to Chinook Middle School and Bellevue High School is a few blocks away.
