  • Our initial meeting will usually take place in your home. I will walk through your home with you and then sit down with you to discuss what your goals, time frames and ideas are regarding the sale of your home. This is a good time to ask me about projects that you intend to do before selling. I can recommend which ones will add value to your home in the eyes of a buyer.

  • The market is constantly changing and some sellers haven't sold a home for years, so I will talk with you about the market and what to expect throughout the process of selling your home.

  • My next step is to do a Comparative Market Analysis to establish a price range for your home. I generally do not provide "off-the-cuff" pricing. Your investment is too important for me not to spend some time thinking about how your home relates to the overall picture of the market in which you will be participating. On our next appointment, I will explain my pricing analysis and the specialized marketing plan I have created for your particular home.

  • When you have decided to list with me we will go through your home again to establish whether any other items need to be done prior to listing and how these things can benefit you in the sale of your home. To better advise you, I have taken extensive staging classes and can help you "stage" your home for the best presentation. I can also provide you with names of professional stagers who can make recommendations and bring in furniture and/or accessories as needed.

  • We will do the listing paperwork, including the Property Disclosure, and then we are ready to begin the marketing process.
